Learning Solutions Project Manager

We are looking for the right person to join our team. Is that you?

Bottom-Line Performance (BLP), a learning solutions company in New Palestine, IN (25 minutes from downtown Indy). We have an opportunity for a project manager who can work as a member of an agile team and manage complex instructional design and development projects from inception to completion. In this position, you’ll define project tasks and resource requirements, develop project plans, manage project timelines, manage through project changes, ensure quality deliverables, and communicate effectively with internal and client resources to support the goals of the company and the project.

We’re a good fit for you if you:

  • Have a passion for challenge. You excel at cat-herding, mind-reading, and outside-the-box thinking (while still managing the project within the quality/scope/timeline box, of course!).
  • Love working directly with customers. You see their success as your success and enjoy partnering with them.
  • View project management as a special blend of spreadsheets, personalities, timelines, relationships, constraints, deliverables, and unknowns. Your happy place is adapting to the unique mix of those things that each project presents.
  • Embrace flexibility. You can make a plan, execute on it… and then roll with it when things go sideways.
  • Thrive in a team environment. Your mantra is “We’ve got this!” You love working with your teammates to produce excellent outcomes and aren’t afraid to share feedback (or receive it!) to continually improve.
  • Like to work hard and have fun doing it.

What you need to succeed:

  • At least three years’ experience managing complex projects ($80K-100K budgets or higher).
  • Experience in consulting or managing projects for external customers.
  • Experience designing and developing learning solutions (or working in a learning design environment) is a plus.
  • A current project management certification is a plus (PMI Agile Certified Practitioner or other PMP designation).

What are the benefits?

Our benefits mirror those available within Fortune 500 companies including a variety of healthcare options, retirement plan, employee assistance program, flexible personal time off policy, 11 paid holidays, flexible working schedules, and the opportunity to work from home following your initial onboarding period.

How do you apply?

Send a resume AND two samples showcasing project documents you’ve written (e.g., project plan, status report, project charter, etc.) to Alicia Ostermeier at alicia@bottomlineperformance.com. Use “Training Project Manager Position” in the subject line.
