Working with the Dayspring Center

Every night in Indianapolis, nearly 3,000 children are homeless. We think that’s 3,000 too many. So in 2007, we formed a partnership with Dayspring Center and began donating our time and financial support to help them reach out to the homeless. Dayspring Center is one of only two homeless shelters in Indianapolis that accepts families with children, providing shelter, clothing, three nourishing meals a day, and assistance to help them get back on their feet. For families struck by hardships like financial collapse or medical problems that have cost them their home, Dayspring is often their only hope.

Health & Wellness

Our optional company wellness program combines challenges that encourage healthy habits and fitness with outings and events that help us stay active and get to know each other better. Challenges range from eating a healthy breakfast every day, meeting an exercise goal, or taking the time for mental well-being. When employees complete a challenge, BLP makes a donation to the Dayspring Center.

We’ve planted a company garden, hiked a local state park, and rode bikes on the Monon Trail as part of past wellness events.
